Issues and Resolutions

The Issues and Resolutions committee is responsible for receiving and reviewing all resolutions submitted by any active member, for their appropriateness in furthering the goals and functions of the Association.  They will make recommendations to the Executive Board.  If approved, the Committee Chairperson or, in his or her absence, the President, will present the resolutions to the general membership.

Issues and Resolutions receiving a favorable recommendation from the membership will be brought to the attention of the appropriate authority under the direction of the Executive Board.

Members should be remindful that when sending an Issue (problem) to the committees attention, you need to also send a Resolution (solution).  It doesn’t have to be written in any certain form, as the committee will do that, but it does need to have both.

If an Issue/Resolution is presented that is clearly a Legislative matter, i.e.: pay raises, then it will be brought to the attention of the Executive Board, but only for informational purposes.  It will also be passed along to the Legislative Committee as a reminder that when they meet with Legislators, this is an issue that needs discussing.

The below is for your use.  MEMBERS ONLY

Please note that BOTH fields must be filled out for your submission to go through.

Your issue / resolution, once submitted, will go directly to the President, who will in turn check the membership list to in fact attest to you being a member and then forward it to the Issues and Resolutions Committee Chairperson, for their review.
