Susan Walker reports that she has spoken to the
person who handles our insurance for our members. She states
that each month she will give them the number of members and
that she will be keeping the list of active members. Right now
the cost for our members is 1.05 per month. We are looking
into possibly securing a new insurer who could provide
more/better benefits. Discussion ensued and board was provided
several options to look at.

policy be changed to reflect the new price of 1.69 per month per

Probation/Parole Officer week is rapidly
approaching and discussion was made as to what we can do for our

their pictures taken soon for inclusion on the page. If
Division boards see any changes that need to be made they can
contact the web designer by email.

informed him that the Executive board would like to speak with
him to discuss any new updates going on in the General
Assembly.
There will be a meeting scheduled to review our
constitution.
Scott Brewer reminds everyone that they can still
send in articles to TALK up until the end of the month.
Susan Walker says she needs help from each
Division for the TI 2008. We as Probation/Parole Officers do so
much each and every day and many people just do not realize what
we do. When things are done take pictures, remind everyone that
NCPPA is working hard for them. NCPPA was instrumental in
obtaining for officers such things as being able to live within
30 miles of our duty station, new weapons, dress code changes
and higher on call pay. We want to try to do a presentation at
the TI this year.
Latashia Williams makes a motion to adjourn,
seconded by Ronda Powell. Motions carries.
Meeting is adjourned at 1230 hours.
Faithfully Submitted,
Secretary Brian Holbrook
